Connect your first app
What we ask GitHub for, and what happens to your code.
We read your repository to draw the map, and we ask for permission to open a pull request only because that’s how a test reaches you.
The steps
- 1Connect GitHubYou choose which repositories we can see. We never see the rest.
- 2Pick oneThe first scan takes a few seconds. We clone it, read it, and let it go.
- 3Read the mapIt opens on one box, the one we’d look at first. Point at a box to add what it’s connected to; the rest waits as counts. If your app has no pages or no tables, the foot of the map says so, and that’s a fact about your app rather than a gap in the scan.
If the map is empty
We look for the shapes real frameworks produce. A repository with no pages and no routes draws an empty map and says so, with what we did find, so you can tell whether we looked in the wrong place.
