What this product does, in the order it does it.

The short answer

Shipready reads the code of an app you built, draws a map of what’s actually in it, grades each part against a published standard, and writes tests for the parts nothing tests yet.

The three things it does

Draws
A map of your app: pages, routes, tables, outside services.
Grades
Each part against OWASP ASVS 5.0.0, a published standard, so a finding is never our opinion.
Writes
A test for a connection you pick, opened as a pull request you approve. Nothing reaches your repository until you press the button that says so.

What it won’t do

It won’t tell you your app is safe, and it won’t change your code without you merging something. Every claim it makes is one you can check.
